| Animaltek - Biography In the epoch of massive phenomenal outbursts of creativity in the field of digital sound exploration, Animaltek tapps its feet solidly into the modern roster of a diverse, up and coming techno producers. Found by the wonder force, in the infinite ocean of music that floats through the web, Oleg Slepak and Shay Raban (aka DJ Earthian) were graced to deliver their interpretations of emotional cataclysms in a powerful effort of self-expression through rhythm, sound and harmony. The wide spectrum of musical influences, that Animaltek traces it's roots from, like hardcore rock, jazz, trippy cyber-disco and early techno-trance, keeps the listener challenged and stimulated, wanting more unexpected and phenomenal grooves over harmoniuos minimal motives, weaved with glitchy sound scapes. Anticipating debut album on Treibstoff Rec., Oleg and Shay prepared the ground with a few 12" EP's, that saw light on WIR and Treibstoff late 2007/early 2008 and got a dynamic and positive response from World's Top DJ's like Sasha, John Digweed, MathiasSchaffhäuser, Marcel Janovsky, Anthony Pappa, Karotte, that included Animaltek's tracks in radioshows, playlists, mixed CD's and compilations. After numerous performances in New York's top venues, Oleg and Shay have been quickly recognized as a powerfull duo by many promoters, DJ's and party goers, since Animaltek's uniquiely designed live set is always a surprising and fresh experience for any dancefloor. Being no strangers to the energetic underground party scene in America, Animaltek carries a decade long worths of participation in it on all possible levels, from setting up small renegade gatherings to rocking big venues such as Pacha, The Annex, The Vault, Tonic, Cosm, Club Exit, just to name a few.
